Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
with Sara
My role as a Craniosacral therapist is to support your body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself
What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?
It is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the nervous system, fascia and the subtle rhythms and movements within the body’s tissues and fluids.
Our nervous system has a central role in how we respond to stress, injury and life experiences. When we experience prolonged stress or feel overwhelmed, the body can respond by holding tension and developing protective patterns. Over time, this may affect how we feel physically and emotionally, contributing to tension, fatigue, anxiety or a feeling of being constantly “on edge”.
Through light, attentive touch, I work with areas of tension and restriction throughout the head, spine and whole body. There is no forceful manipulation. Instead, the approach creates a calm, supportive space in which the nervous system can settle and the body can begin to release patterns of holding.
The pace of each session is guided by the individual and by what the body is able to comfortably process.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy recognises the body’s inherent capacity for self-regulation and supports this process with gentle, respectful touch. It can be adapted for people at all stages of life, from babies and children to adults, with each session tailored to the individual’s needs and circumstances.

My Approach
I feel very fortunate to work with people from all walks of life and to support clients through many different stages and experiences. I have worked with people experiencing migraines, anxiety, injuries, digestive difficulties, trauma, as a support to neurodiversity and people seeking help for overwhelm and burnout
One of the things I value most about my work is supporting whole families. I often find that when one person in a family is struggling, it can have an impact on everyone around them. I feel privileged when families choose to work with me, sometimes seeing different family members at different times, and sometimes supporting several members of the family alongside one another.
I have a particular passion for working with neurodivergent children and adults, helping people with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia find greater ease, comfort and balance in their bodies and everyday lives.
I support children & teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, school or life transitions, overwhelm and chronic fatigue, offering gentle, practical support to help ease the weight they may be carrying.
I also work with people living with the effects of trauma, and women navigating hormonal changes and the different stages of life.
My approach is compassionate, person-centred and focused on helping each individual feel more comfortable, understood and at home in themselves.
For me, creating a sense of calm is at the heart of this work. Life can feel overwhelming, particularly in this fast-paced world we live in, and I want to offer a space where people can pause, feel supported and really tune in to themselves. Through gentle, attentive work, I hope to help people reconnect with a greater sense of safety, grounding and ease within themselves.
I also feel deeply drawn to supporting people who have carried emotional experiences for a long time, whether through trauma, difficult relationships or challenging family dynamics. I believe there is great value in having a safe and compassionate space in which these experiences can be gently acknowledged and supported.
