My journey with Craniosacral therapy...

I was introduced to Craniosacral Therapy by a wonderful friend who recommended it to me at a time when I needed some support - and I haven’t looked back since.

My love of the sea intertwines with this beautiful therapy. Tuning into the rhythms and tides of the body, and feeling the subtle changes from within, had a lasting impact on me.

The experience touched me so deeply that I decided to train as a Craniosacral Therapist. I committed to a two-year training, with hundreds of hours spent learning, practising and working with clients. It was honestly one of the most rewarding and life-changing experiences I have ever undertaken.

I grew and learned so much alongside my clients. That growth and expansion began from within and continues to feed into every part of my life.

I discovered that old patterns can shift and reorganise, that things can change, that feelings can come and go, and that we are not our thoughts. There is movement and flow within us. Things can move, change and release. We don’t always have to remain stuck in the same patterns, and pain does not necessarily have to be something we simply accept or put up with.

Since becoming a Craniosacral Therapist, I have continued to expand my learning. I completed further training specialising in neurodiversity, The Flowering of Potential, learning alongside highly experienced practitioners about ways of supporting neurodivergent clients. I have also completed training in fascial unwinding and have been fascinated by the impact this work can have on the body.

I am always growing and always learning - and this is what I hope for my clients too.

I continue to be fascinated by Craniosacral Therapy: by the connection between mind and body, by the way our experiences can be held within us, and by the uniqueness of every person’s response to the work. No two people are the same, and every session brings something different.

My own experience of Craniosacral Therapy is a big part of why I do what I do. Discovering this therapy in my own life opened up a different understanding of healing for me and allowed me to experience change in ways I hadn’t expected. It has truly changed the way I experience and live in my body.

I feel incredibly grateful to now be able to share this work with others. It is a privilege to sit alongside people during times of difficulty, change and growth, and to witness the small, and sometimes profound, shifts that can take place over time.

For me, this work is about creating a space where people feel listened to, supported and safe enough to reconnect with themselves.
